Fensalden Estate, or 'The Land of Sea and Mist' in Norse, sits atop 7.5 +/- pastoralacres that are framed by ancient Cypress and overlooking the rugged Mendocino coast.Built in 1860 as a Wells Fargo Stagecoach stop and later operated as creamery, a ranch, a private residence, and a farm retreat. It began it's most recent incarnation as a lodging property in the 1970s. There are 8 guest quarters spread across the main house and additional three separate cottages. The more modern 'Yellow House' has 2 bedrooms/1 bath, kitchen, dining area, and living room. The 3rd unit is the bungalow which is a studio with extra sleeping loft, full bath and a kitchen.
