The Colinas Ranch is an excellent recreational ranch located at the north end of the Gabilan Mountain Range and lying just below Fremont Peak. Located 5+/- miles south of San Juan Bautista and 50+/- miles south of San Jose w/ a location that provides a pleasant, cooler climate. The Colinas is a mountainous ranch w/ various ridges and valleys w/ elevation from 800 feet above sea level along the canyons to a high of 2,000 feet along the ridges. The vegetation includes a mixture of grassland and brushland with numerous oaks and a few cypress trees. The headwaters of both Towne Creek and Mud Creek run through the canyons of the Colinas, providing several natural springs providing water to the cabin and livestock water troughs. The ranch is improved with a 1,025 sq. ft. cabin built in the 1960's sitting in a tranquil setting among hundred year old oaks. The property is subject to a conservation easement with a purpose of protecting the natural beauty and ecology of this land in perpetuity.
